Dr Eleftherios Kritikos
Dr Eleftherios Kritikos is the Secretary General for Industry and a member of the CEN Institutional Affairs Committee.
He possesses extensive experience in senior and executive management positions within the fields of Standardization, Metrology, Accreditation, industries, and real estate companies, while he has also served as an external financial corporate advisor specializing in addressing complex restructuring situations.
In the past, he has served as Vice Governor for Strategic Planning, Finance, Revenues, and the Center for the Collection of Social Security Debts (KEAO) at e-EFKA (National Social Security Funds), Executive Chairman at EDEKT Asset Management S.A., and Vice Chairman at AEDAK of Insurance Organizations. He has also worked as an Advisor to the Deputy Minister of Economy and Finance at the General Accounting Office of the State, as an Advisor to the Minister of Labour and Social Affairs, and as a Senior Advisor to the Governor of OAED.
He holds a bachelor's degree from the Department of Economics of the Athens University of Economics and Business (formerly ASOEE), an interdepartmental MBA from the Agricultural University of Athens, and has completed further education in the fields of Sustainability Leadership and Data Analysis at the University of Cambridge, Managerial Finance at the London School of Economics, and Corporate Governance at Wharton University. Finally, he holds a type "D" certification (Financial Analyst and Issuers) from the Hellenic Capital Market Commission and holds a PhD from the University of Piraeus.
