Diana Georgakopoulou

Diana is a graduate of the Department of Environmental Engineering at the Technical University of Crete, holding an MSc in Environmental Science and Technology from Imperial College and a certificate in Business Sustainability Management from Cambridge University.

She began her professional experience in a consulting company, participating in significant projects of Environmental Impact Studies. Additionally, she held positions in multinational companies in the FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) sector and the building materials industry, gaining extensive experience in waste management, sustainable development, circular economy, and the development of new sustainable products.

Since December 2023, she has held the position of Director General of SEV Business Council for Sustainable Development, with a portfolio focusing on green transition, emphasizing addressing climate change, transitioning to a circular economy, and advocating for biodiversity.
