Zoi Kampouri

Zoi Kampouri is the co-founder and Managing Director of ReSight Consulting. She has extensive experience in the Environment and Energy sector since 2006, having designed and developed over 100MW of RES projects in Greece. From 2017 to 2022, she worked as Airfiled Lighting and Energy Manager at Fraport Greece managing large scale projects at 14 regional airports in Greece moving then to the energy-intensive industry sector as Energy Manager at Alumil SA. Since October 2022, she leads the Energy Working Group at the Federation of Industries of Greece. Zoi holds degrees in Electrical Engineering, Project Management, and Business Sustainability from top institutions and is a certified Energy Auditor (CEA®) and Project Management Professional (PMP®).

From ESG Pressure to Operational Transformation: A Hospitality Case Study

This presentation explores a hospitality case study of a hotel organization that had no prior sustainability structure but was increasingly facing pressure from stakeholders, financing institutions, and regulatory requirements related to ESG reporting and energy performance.
Instead of treating ESG as a standalone reporting exercise, the project focused on the early engagement of key stakeholders, including consultants, energy auditors, and EPC contractors, while addressing barriers such as limited resources, fragmented data, and regulatory complexity.
The initiative delivered an end-to-end sustainability approach that led to significant operational improvements and significant savings.
The case study also highlights the importance of continuous improvement, with next steps and actions to support long-term sustainability management.
